Senior Backend Software Engineer

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be taking ownership of our backend system and will work closely with other developers and product designers in lean ways using cutting-edge technologies powering highly available RESTful services and back-end systems. The main technologies you will be working with are Java, Spring boot, MySQL, REST, JSON, and AWS Infrastructure.

 

In this position, you will contribute to:

• Develop and maintain backend services such as API's, reports, payments, and operations tools that manage our products
• Work with product managers day to day to bring more value to our customers, covering customer-facing reporting and native applications and public APIs used for iTSM integration
• Resolve most technical issues autonomously and design well-organized code
• Drive assigned requests to improve the codebase, such as migrating it to modern frameworks

 

Job requirements

• Backend engineering experience in any language
• Solid understanding of web architecture
• Working experience with APIs
• Experience with test-driven development
• Experienced developer on Java, Python and similar.
• Working knowledge of AWS components
• Assist DevOps and deployment on AWS
